On the 15th of February, it was time for our third MAcademy of the year by The House of Marketing x Flowresulting! During this insightful workshop, our MAEUR members got the opportunity to learn more about developing customer-centric innovations and pricing strategies.

About The House of Marketing & Flowresulting

In 2023, THoM and Flowresulting merged together into a strategic marketing consultancy firm, part of Customer Collective. They help their clients to transition towards profitable, sustainable growth. They do this through strategic marketing consulting and interim management. The company unlocks business opportunities via marketing and tackles every challenge - from vision to strategy, to the last implementation mile. They are always looking for young talent to join their team. Have a look at our Career Portal to see their open vacancies!

Developing customer-centric innovations and pricing strategies

The MAcademy by THoM x Flowresulting mainly focused on marketing as it revolved around analyzing the customer journey and assessing customers’ pains and gains for a specific service. They brought an interesting real-life case that our MAEUR members got to tackle. While using the design thinking approach, participants created a value proposition for the customers in the designated case. The MAcademy followed with a discussion on how to break down this value proposition into tangible product features and how to determine the appropriate pricing based on quantitative data.

    What is design thinking?

When tackling a business case, The House of Marketing works with a 'design thinking approach'. This methodology is used for finding solutions to business problems while prioritizing the customers’ needs. There are five stages in this process: 'empathize', 'define', 'ideate', 'prototype', and 'test'. During the workshop, our students got to know more about these phases and how to apply them to a real case.

All in all, it was a great and helpful workshop. We would like to thank THoM and Flowresulting for sharing their expertise and presenting us with such an interesting case!
