The originally Dutch company was founded in
1924 by Piet van Leeuwen Jr. in Zwijndrecht. After
the Second World War the company became active
in foreign countries as well. First several offices were opened in Belgium, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. In the seventies further expansion towards North America, Australia and Asia was realized. Afterwards the Asian region became more important.
