Structure
The Marketing Association EUR is being represented by the board, which gets assisted by several committees. These committees organize impressive events for the association. The board has to justify her decisions two times each year during the General Assembly meeting and is being checked and advised by the following two institutions:
- Advisory body
The advisory body consists of the Strategic Counsel (SC) and the Operational Counsel (OC). The SC comprises former board members of the Marketing Association EUR, representatives of the department Marketing from the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE), the department Marketing Management from the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and the private sector business. The SC checks and gives advice on the strategic direction the board follows. The OC consists of the three boards preceding the current board. This advisory body guides the current board with functional advice. - Financial Control Committee (FCC)
The financial control committee consists of the two treasurers out of the preceding boards. The financial control committee monitors the financial situation of the association and therefore checks the financial administration at least two times each year. Second, the approval of the financial control committee is obliged in order to discharge the board during the General Assembly meeting.
